MAA Committees
As outlined in the MAA Bylaws, the Association maintains the following committees: Education & Events, Membership & Public Relations, Government Affairs, and Workforce Development. Each committee or task force member plays a vital role in supporting MAA’s mission. Members are asked to commit to fulfilling their responsibilities with diligence and integrity, and the success of each committee depends on active involvement and consistent attendance. Education & Events
This committee oversees the planning and execution of MAA events and educational programs throughout the year. It recommends the number and types of educational seminars and classes offered annually and plans and supports key events, including the Awards Gala, Lunch & Learns, Maintenance Seminars, National Designations, Maintenance Appreciation Events, Socials, and Educational Speaker Sessions.
Government Affairs
This committee assists MAA staff and lobbyists in monitoring local and statewide issues affecting the multifamily industry.
